This parameter is used to selectively enable and disable read/write operations or both while performing TFTP put() operation, when the user is logged in as "root". This is used to log the TFTP transaction messages. This parameter takes a class name as its input which implements TftpLogger interface. This parameter is used to set the maximum limit on the number of clients that can be connected to the TftpServer at a given time. This value should be specified in milliseconds. This parameter sets the timeout value for each retry of the TftpServer. This parameter is used to set the number of retries to be made for transferring files between the source and the destination. Since, Linux systems do not allow the ordinary users to use the ports from 0 to 1023, the user has to log in as "root", in order to enable the TFTP service to be started at the default port. By default, the TftpServer is started at port " 69". This parameter is used to specify the port in which the TftpServer has to be started. If this parameter is not given a value, a default value of "/" is taken. This parameter is used to specify the root directory with respect to which the files should be transferred between machines. It can be either started as one of the modules with Web NMS or as a standalone utility. The NmsTftpServer process starts the TFTP service that can be used to transfer files between nodes. The various options with which the TFTP server can be started is specified in the file nf present in /conf directory.

The information transfer is done in TFTP through port " 69". The TFTP server enables the client to upload or download files between the server and the client.
